LEED Credentialing for Current APs

MCAA/MSCA presented an important webinar December 17 that can provide you with the latest information on requirements needed to maintain your current LEED AP status. Topics covered included:

  • How and when to opt into the new LEED AP Specialty Program
  • Which Specialty Program to opt into
  • Renewal fee structure
  • Time frame to accrue required CEUs
  • How and where to accrue CEUs
  • How to document CEUs for compliance
The newly implemented LEED AP credentialing maintenance program is designed to expand the knowledge and experience base of LEED APs. The goal of the program is to support continuing education while maintaining a current knowledge of green building technology as well as changes to the various LEED rating systems. It is important that you understand all the new requirements and make sure you attain the necessary CEUs to maintain your LEED AP credential.
This program was presented by David M. Hubka, LEED AP BD+C, O+M, Sustainable Project Manager for Total Mechanical in Pewaukee, WI. For the past three years, Dave has also been the popular instructor for MSCA's LEED prep classes.
